The owners, a Mexican couple, bought this apartment located in the Carrer del Parlament in Barcelona (near the Sant Antoni market) with the idea of moving to Barcelona in a new phase of their lives.<\/p>\n

The house was partially renovated but needed to be completely furnished and also needed major changes in the main room and entrance area.<\/p>\n

While the clients were still in Mexico, Estudio Romanelli Interior designer<\/a> carried out all the work in approximately 3 weeks before they moved to Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Our interior design studio took care of the whole process, from the execution of the masonry work and installations, the choice of furniture and lamps, to the design of most of the furniture made to measure.<\/p>\n

The style is quite neutral and bright with a Nordic feel, and perfectly matches the rustic walls of the flat and the wooden beams of the ceilings.<\/p>\n

The layout of the apartment is practically diaphanous. The living room and kitchen share the same space and the room located at one end of the flat communicates through a double door with the rest of the rooms making the space a whole. From the room we can access to a covered terrace.<\/p>\n

A main bathroom on one side and a small toilet hidden behind a glass door next to a closet in the room complete the flat.<\/p>\n

Lacking a hall, the property was accessed directly, therefore we made a piece of furniture that works as a transparent wall that creates an entrance space and at the same time provides privacy to the rest of the room.<\/p>\n
